For the past two years, Meeker Elementary School has engaged in learning opportunities through a partnership with Wisdom Ways Academy in Ghana, Africa. This partnership has been facilitated by OneSeed, which is a nonprofit organization run by a Meeker High School graduate. OneSeed has also offered curriculum materials for one of the elective courses at Barone Middle School during the 22-23 school year. Registration for preschool programs in Colorado is changing for the 2023-2024 school year. Families with children who will be four years old by July 1, 2023 are encouraged to register for Universal Preschool at upk.colorado.gov by May 11, 2023. Meeker Elementary School will hold a follow up event in early August to share specifics about our preschool program. School has been cancelled today, January 18, for the Meeker School District. Heavy snow, wind, and road conditions have created unsafe travel conditions throughout the county.
Boys Basketball is Just Around the Corner!
The first day of practice will be Monday October 3rd after school. Check out our BMS Athletics Page for a tentative schedule for the season. Athletes must have a valid physical on file in order to practice/compete.
We will host brief parent/athlete information nights at the start of the season (times below). This will be a great time to learn about BMS Athletics as well as get connected to our coaches/program to stay up to date throughout the season.
7th Grade - Parent/Athlete Night will take place immediately after the first practice on Monday October 3rd @ 5:30PM
8th Grade - Parent/Athlete Night will take place immediately after the second practice on Tuesday October 4th @ 5:30PM
